04hr29 steady progress. The oncoming lights are blurring into one as we fly past the cars on our side. Looking good for sunrise over switzerland.

04hr56 guy's wondering if the moon's low for everyone else tonight. Currently on the horizon for us and quite a good target to aim for.

05hr42 east bound and down, go vrs' wheels are rollin' ,
we're gonna do what they say can't be done.
We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there.
I'm east bound, just watch ol' "Bandits" run.

07hr25 just crossed the swiss border. Bring on the mountains.

09hr27 Doing good. Had 2 helpful locals provide a route out avoiding polizei from zurich.

10hr48 well darren, it's 6.18am and we're less than 35 mins away from stelvio. Good guess-ish

at around 6 am they hit the Stelvio Pass.

12hr19 we're at the top of stelvio! Woohoo!!!
We didn't take the easy route either.
Now having a well earned coffee.
The air's a bit thin up here. Light headness affecting 2 of the bandits.

12hr45 the tiredness is kicking in. we know we should be getting going but it's just too comfortable here. we've just been offered a room.

Smokey and the Bandit (GO VRS) have left Calais, and Sanjib reports heavy traffic, will they make it on time or get thwarted by the traffic, keep watching to see.
