Hi All, apologises for the delay with updates and photos....also there will be thousands of grammar mistakes but i have just finished an update for the last 10 days!

I am finding internet cafes very slow in central Asia......

Day Six
After being chased out of the woods by some ukraine gypies with Guns we had a nice sleep in a hotel in KIEV we then spent 17 hours driving to the RUSSIA border, In Ukraine we had our first road kill, it Was very emotionall kiling a fox at 60mph! As we drove through Ukraine we started getting pulled over by the police, so far we have been pulled over 17 times to date, and touch wood we have not had to pay any fines!

Day Seven
RUSSIA after a short 3 hour sleep in a petrol station we then drove 27 hours to KAZAKHSTAN..... The Key thing we noticed about Russia was the grand size of everything! I personally liked Russia people where super friendly!

Day Eight
we carried on driving through KAZAKHSTAN, the change from Russia in to KAZ was mind blowing we went from a soviet country and soon as we crossed the border chopper was nearly refused entry as due to his runny nose they called for a doctor thinking he had swine flue! Chop was not best impressed. we witnessed wild camels, mud huts and intense tempatures instantly over the border. Everyone was totally exhausted so went drove to a city called Atyrau, which is a the oil capital of KAZAKHSTAN next to the CASPIAN SEA. As we were standing around an ATM machine, a well spoken in english local introduced him self and wanted to show us the real KAZ and not the image Borat protrayed. I asked him to recommend a garage so we could fit an underguard to protect the engine from pot holes and poor roads. The guys mission was to get a team of local Mechanics to work on our car through Saturday night for Free! In exchange for all there hard work we took them all our for dinner and partied hard into the morning!

Day Nine
we left our new mates, and stocked up all food and water for the desert then drove into across Kaz to the start of the desert. This part of the journey we have been fearing the most 500 kms of no roads on the map!

Day Ten
we woke up with the Sun and drove to the Ubekistan border, the reminded me of the film Mad Max.. The crossing was slow and hot - 42 degrees! We carried of driving through the desert and later that afternoon, we got our first puncture! It was a smoothless change but very sweaty in the desert sun.

Day Eleven
We drove all day in the UZBEKISTAN desert dirt tracks, car surfing and having a great time. We wanted to set up camp before the sunset, on approaching a town where we were wishing for a cold beer, the beer in central Asia so far has been fantastic. Unfortunatly due to a petrol tanker in the road on fire with fire fighter in attendance we called it a night there 500 yards from the road. We set up camp and used the petrol stove for cooking up a storm in the dersert, also using our portable shower which was so so so good to wash all the dust off us. Lighting a camp fire and singing a fewq songs was a perfect ending to a hard hot days driving.

Day Twelve
Waking up with the sun at 6am the spanish friends pushed on. We chilled and cooked up some porridge and left camp around 8:30am. We stopped to buy water shortly after and decided to eat. Sign language for beef was understood and out came a array of dumpling looking pouches, inside was beef onion and potato. Amazingly tasting like a Cornish Pasty, these with bread cherry juice, and two bottles of water came to a mere £1!!!
Heading then to nukus and onto Bukhara where we had to pay a taxi driver to take us to the hotel, with us following.
The hotel was very nice with amazing staff, and only £15 each. BUKHARA is a lovely town of fine decor and highly religious.

Day Thirteen
Leaving Bukhara in the early afternoon we set off on the 500 km trip to TASHKENT the Capital of Uzbekistan. Stopping for Local shashlyk and meat dumplings. Few hours later Paul felt the effect of this with roadside explosive bottom! Arriving to Tashkent quite late we found a hotel, formally the Sheriton but was taken over by the government so this 4 star hotel Markily was much cheaper. Paul decided to go out for a drink in town while me and lauren were joined by the cordoban spanish team also staying here for a beer in the hotel bar.

Day Fouteen.
After a nice breakfast with a local friend of Pauls, we thought instead of racing a head we would would make most of the hotel and relax by the pool! After far too much chill time we had to get back on the road and head for the Kyrgystan border. ( A small eight hour drive)

Day Fifteen

We sleep rough at the border crossing due to it didnt open till 7am! KYRGYZSTAN was amazing !!!! As were the first and a small percentage of cars on the Mongal Rally cars to Enter KYRGYZSTAN, it reminded me of driving through Albaina in the Rolls Royce everyone stopping for photos, even the police let us let us off speeding a couple of times! but the funny thing was we were in a Fiesta !!! Haha
KYRGYZSTAN secerary is a mix between the Switzerland and New Zealand, It is so beautiful, photos do not give it justice!

We ended up camping by an amazing lake and cooking up some local delights!

Day sixteen

For Breakfast we had a fresh Water Melon for breakfast and a swim in the lake.... PERFECT

Mongol Sally did well climbing up to 3500meters into the snow cap mountains.
Up in the mountains we were invited to a locals Yurt for Lunch it was all going smoothly until they brought out the MERES MILK !....... As a sucker for peer presure they made me down fermented warm horse milk, which tasted like cheesy, tangy, Horse Piss !!!
After the lunch and we let the local man drive our car! - this was a bad idea as he didnt want to give it back!!!

That evening we spent the evening in the capitol BISHKEK , visiting there main square a cheap version of leicester square!

NEXT STEPS

We have one more relaxing day visiting the old capitol of Kazakhstan before the final push to MONGOLIA we are approx 1200 miles away from the border 3days solid driving through KAZAKHSTAN and then one / two days in SIBERIA.
